Why are you all of a sudden calling yourself a mystic? What does it mean? How can someone call themselves that?
The definition of a mystic, according to online sources, is this:
a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect.
My personal definition is, "one that thinks deeply and believes more in what isn't seen then what is."
I don't need to explain myself to anyone, but the reason I have taken this title is because as a human being I feel misinterpreted and misunderstood most of the time. While I don't really care that it happens, I am working with individuals who seek to understand themselves better, and to be upfront with my deeper thinking would surly be of interest to those looking into working with me. I have had a lifetime of self discovery/understanding and feel I am in the best position to advise others with their own understanding.
But you can't be a Mystic
There are many reason's why others may not think or feel that I am a mystic. One of the reasons is that mystic's are typically of the male species and the other is that they are unmarried monks living in a cave somewhere. Well both of these stereotypes need to change.
Just because I am female does not mean I don't think deeply. On the contrary, my mind has always delved below the surface of understanding about life and I'm most comfortable while I am in deep contemplation. In fact, life exists in the mind before it exists in the material realm and so when I dive deep I am connecting to that which is coming. Being a deep thinker has nothing to do with my gender and so it is time we lift the veil of what is expected spiritually from someone solely based on gender.
The other argument is that I am not a monk living in a cave meditating all day. To this I say, the real test of life is to find your balance and live a "normal" existence as you maintain that balance. Living in a cave meditating all day is not a "normal" existence. The person that does that is not connected to life and is not living to life's fullest. The mind that can exist in everyday life while maintaining balance is the mystic mind.
What is a Mystic Mind?
The mystic mind is the individual that can dive deep, see life as it is coming and have trust and faith in their visions. The mystic mind is one that does not hide from life, but knows that all of life exists for the pleasure and joy that it can bring to each individual. And the mystic mind knows that life is not random or happening to the detriment of anyone, it in fact, is happening for the benefit, growth and joy for all that experience it. To experience life is why you have taken a human body. The highs and lows are all there for the enrichment that life gives to your existence. Embrace life and all that it gives to you and you will have the most amazing journey.
